Internal Performance Work

Internal Performance Work

Internal Performance Work:

Forcing Cone Lengthen: This service involves lengthening or smoothing the forcing cone, the area where the barrel transitions from the chamber to the bore. A longer forcing cone can reduce felt recoil, and minimize shot deformation, leading to better patterning. 12 or 20 Gauge. $100

Bolt Polishing: The bolt of the shotgun is polished to improve smoothness and reduce friction during operation. This process enhances the cycling speed and reliability of the firearm, leading to a smoother, more efficient performance. $90

Note: This will only be polished on the "rails" section where the bolt and receiver have the most contact.

Light Trigger Polish: Trigger and Hammer engagement area will be lightly cleaned up to get a better feeling pull. $50

Grip Stippling: Stippling is a polymer texture-modifying process applied to the grip or stock of a firearm to enhance its traction. This service helps improve grip control, especially in wet or slippery conditions, allowing for a more secure and comfortable hold. $125

Note: This is done by hand and can have many different designs to choose from which determines how smooth or rough you want the texture to be. This is only offered for polymer/synthetic style furniture.

Silicon Carbide Grip Enhancement: A method of adding a highly durable, textured surface to the grip of a firearm using silicon carbide. This treatment improves grip texture, providing superior traction and control, which is particularly beneficial for those using their firearms in challenging, wet conditions. $175
